Promin Aerospace raised $500 000 from QPDigital, the project of Q Partners, to build the smallest orbiting rocket in history. The startup plans to create an engine for ultralight rockets, as well as invest in development and promotion of the product.

The company’s innovation is a unique engine that burns during a flight a solid fuel rod that serves as a rocket body. The uniform pulsation of the engine allows it to build an accurate flight path. The engine is created using additive technologies and the weight of the rocket will be from 100 to 500 kg. The development is carried out by its own team of engineers with the involvement of experts from the main technical universities of Ukraine.

Promin Aerospace technology is much cheaper than all alternatives on the market. The launch rocket into suborbit and orbit will cost up to $ 200 000. Key customers will be international corporations, for which Promin Aerospace will launch telecommunications satellites and Earth surface imaging satellites into orbit.
